Today we introduce you to our student Lisa König. She is a ballet dancer and has been training at the Swiss Academy Zurich since the summer of 2021. Due to her great performances she can change to the professional Mosa Ballet School in Liège from summer 2022.
"A dream is coming true for me. The Swiss Academy has supported me in my plans from the very beginning, and I appreciate that very much."
Lisa already told us about her goal of one day gaining admission to an academy during our first conversation at the Swiss Academy, and you could see the gleam in her eyes. However, she clearly expressed that she also wanted to develop further on the academic side:
"Although one is always fully focused on Plan A, it makes sense to have a Plan B, in my case a solid education. Accordingly, we found a suitable solution for me, where I could ideally combine my passion dancing, as well as school".
A solution that is needed in her individuality so that Lisa can ideally balance her weekly 25 - 30 hours of dance training with her school education. What Lisa particularly liked about the Swiss Academy was the flexible structure of the school program, the supportive teaching and mentoring staff and, above all, the exchange with other students from the fields of sports, dance and music.
Now Lisa is embarking on a journey to an exciting region to further develop her dance skills in a special program. School will also not be neglected at the boarding school.
